2 feeders, 320 lbs. of corn, 8 – 40lb bags
In order to keep the deer happy we need to keep the feeders full. This keeps them coming back to the land for a visit and a snack. In this case we refilled the 2 feeders with 8 – 40 lbs bags. 320 lbs of corn. Chow is ready.

New Feeder Setup Completed
A new feeder was setup this weekend. It is ready to go with 200 lbs of corn. There is a new game camera covering the area as well. I’m hoping the camera does not get stolen. It was secured with a special lock but we will have to wait and see. This area was also cleared out with a tractor and brush hog. A stand will be setup behind the feeder in the area with green vegetation. This should help with natural cover.

New Feeder Coming Soon
I extended an invitation to a friend to hunt on the land and he has added a new feeder to increase the amount of corn provided to the deer. In the pictures below you can see where the feeder is being assembled in Houston, Texas. He added a rodent cage that helps deter racoons and squirrels from eating the corn and the feeder base.
